The reformed Man Band in the wee hours on Sailsbury Plain. Music is from the gig which unfortunatley wasn't filmed.

Amazing band Groundbreaking BananaHeads
the IMMORTAL John Cipolina...
How can anybody listen to modern pop?
@@TeaParty1776 😂✌️✌️
Thanks for putting all of this hippie stuff together, Dave--particularly Quicksilver and its later relations....
In my top 10 gigs. Such a cool night. You could harldy see the boys on stage for the thick herbal smoke hanging in the air!
This recording is what became the final album Fascinating
Still one of my favorite guitarists. I saw him play twice. Still have a picture of him on my amp.
@@charlespatrick1572 some things are eternal. John is as eternal as is his music ✌️✌️😎😎
Legends
My iphone ringtone is the first few seconds of Cipollina’s timeless solo on the QMS album’s Pride of Man. So I can hear it a lot.
John Cipollina was one of the truly great rock guitarists and to this day does not get the recognition he deserves. Quicksilver was my favourite band of the sixties and Cipollina's guitar playing was the most distinctive and exciting of all his contemporaries. Nick Gravenites is another artist who does not get the credit he is due for his contributions to rock music. A great vocalist with his own distinctive sound he was an integral part of the Electric Flag and his collaborations with Mike Bloomfield and John Cipollina, amongst others, has produced a truly memorable musical legacy.

I had the privilege of being at this gig last time I shared a beer with Micky & Deke after fond memories- thank you for sharing
I've listened to this more than 2000 times, and it still retains its excitement and interest. I agree with @rickg2683, one of the greatest pieces of live music - ever. Just magic.
I love that guitar! Had to look him up and glad I discovered him after seeing his rig! So wild
You can tell the quality of the man and musician by their comments. Great man who could go straight to your heart. Nice photos. Thank you. Terry and the Pirates best bar band in the universe.
Absolut top !!!!!!!!!👍👍👍🤠🙋♂️🌈✌
Psychedelics and the blues seem to go hand "n" hand.
dude, the last minute of the video just exhibits nuclear weapons testing...phase 1...light travels faster than sound...
Saw them a few times, and Deke Leonard’s Iceberg. Always brilliant gigs
Typical FZ style. He didn't even try to win over the crowd with a tune they might have heard. Straight in with a rambling solo to warm up. I loved it, as I knew he had another 100 tunes his band could play next. Very brave to do that.
I got to see them first at the Quick and the Dead show at the Crystal in PDX....I saw them a few times in various other bands. Once after a Dinosaurs' gig a friend persuaded Cipollina to drop by his home after the show. He, his girlfriend and I got to visit with him till dawn. A great guy snd an epic guitarist
"Die sucker!" ... Man, I so loved Nick and John playing together. Never got to see them with Al though.
Nor did I but saw John and Nick in a London pub / venue and was around a year after John had toured the UK with Man . Must have been around 76
14 years later I finally find this. Almost to the day. Those were great times at ChiChi.
Wonderful, Thank you Lodovico Ellena, Lorenzo Proverbio and band.
Sorry, who is this?
A band called Man.Tap on the info button and then you will see the name of the band.
🎶This was the “jam”! 🔥🔥☄️ ☄️
Saw John with Man at the Free Trade Hall Manchester UK 1974. Brilliant Guitarist. One of the Bay Area Greats. Passed way to early😥
Caught the same tour at The Roundhouse. A memory that will never fade.✌️✌️😎🎶🎶🎶
I took a few of those photos. 🙂 A great set from an amazing band.
Thank goodness someone had their head screwed on😎✌️🎶🎶
Looks like Jerry Garcias guitar
One cruddy hit single and it would been a different story for Man. Hawkwind did it!! Remind me what the principle was again Deke??
This song is perfect for a quinten Tarantino movie.
I listened to this song today.. the whole album in fact... incredible!
I bought the DVD from WDR.
Helluva a performance

John’s licks were clear and surgical. And I loved the work that he did with the legendary Welsh band Man. R.I.P.
Was an incredible experience to see the Band with John on board. The Roundhouse really did rock for 3 nights.
man are from merthyr tydfil my home town in south wales what an original sound this band had like no other
DOES ANYONE KNOW GARY SUMMERS' LAST COULD BE SPELLED DIFFERENT, I MET JOHN BECAUSE OF GARY AND GOT TO PLAY A MINUTE WIT5H HIM,
Uk musician?
John was probably the most stylish guitarist on this side of the pond. Was the most distinctive when you heard him.
March 31 1975. After this we all went over to John's place. Hi-jinks ensued
As if such behaviour would take place 😎✌️😂
Listening to Christmas at the Patti A ll those years ago What memories... Still not found their successors
Brilliant where are they now,?

@@johngoldthorpe5921 , on Man’s site it says 31/03/1975 Sausalito Heliport, in California (Rehearsals), USA
I saw them open for Blue Oyster Cult at the Salem, Oregon armory in April of 1975. I thought they were great.
